Removal procedure
1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the nuts from the wiper arm to gain access to the wiper arm nut.
3. Lift the wiper arm assembly off the windshield and remove the wiper arm from the pivot shaft.
Installation procedure
1. Install the windshield wiper arm.
Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals may result in rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to avoid premature corrosion.
2. Secure the wiper arm with the nut.
Tighten
Tighten the wiper arm nut to 22 Nm (16 ft·lbs).
3. Turn on the windshield wipers and make sure they work properly.
4. Close the hood.
