Water outlet channel (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the upper heater hose.

2. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the water hose to the expansion tank.



3. Remove the water outlet channel (1) from the cylinder block.

4. Remove the water outlet gasket (2) to the cylinder block and discard.

Installation procedure

1. Install a new water outlet gasket (2) to the cylinder block.

2. Install the water outlet channel (1) to the cylinder block.

Tighten

Tighten the water outlet channel mounting bolt to 10 N·m (89 lbs.in).



3. Attach the upper heater hose to the water outlet and secure with a clamp.



4. Attach the water hose to the expansion tank from the water outlet and secure with a clamp.
