Important: There is no need to check the fluid level unless the fluid is being changed or a leak is suspected. Check the fluid level only when the engine is not running. The vehicle must be on a level surface.
1. Raise the vehicle and place it on the supports provided for this purpose.
2. Remove the plug from the fluid level check hole.
3. Make sure the liquid is level with the hole.
4. If the transaxle is not filled properly, carefully add SAE75W90 fluid until it begins to flow out of the fluid check/fill plug.
5. Install a new fluid level check plug.
Tighten
Tighten the fluid level check plug to 6 N·m (53 lbs.in) + 45°~180°.
6. Lower the car.
