Checking the level and adding working fluid to the power steering reservoir (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need: power steering fluid, a clean cleaning cloth.

NOTE: Add DEXRON VI automatic transmission fluid to the power steering reservoir.

The power steering reservoir is installed in the engine compartment in the front part, on the left side.



To control the fluid level in the tank, the walls are marked with "MIN" and "MAX". When the engine is cold, the working fluid level should be between these marks (approximately at the level of the weld seam of the upper and lower parts of the tank).

NOTE: Check the power steering fluid level with the engine not running.

1. Unscrew the tank cap...





2. ...and add the required amount of working fluid if its level in the tank is below normal.



3. Close the cap tightly and wipe away any drips.
