2. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir cap. The cap is usually marked with the following image:

Note: Before removing the lid, clean the lid itself and the tank to prevent dirt from getting inside the tank.

3. Wipe the dipstick with a clean cloth or tissue and replace the dipstick cover.
4. Remove the dipstick again and check the power steering fluid level.

When the engine is cold, the fluid level should be near the "FULL COLD" mark. If necessary, add working fluid up to the "FULL COLD" mark.

5. If necessary, replace the working fluid. After performing the procedure for replacing the working fluid, it may be necessary to bleed the system (for more details, see chapter "Steering").
Note: when the engine is running, the working fluid level should decrease by no more than 5 mm. If the change is significant, it is necessary to remove air from the hydraulic system of the power steering, i.e. bleed the system (see chapter "Steering").
