Removal and installation the windshield wiper mechanism (Chevrolet Cruze J300)

You will need a 10 mm socket head.

1. Remove the windshield wiper arms

2. Remove the air intake box grille (see "Removal and installation the air intake box grille").

3. Slide the wiring harness connector lock...

6. ...and remove the trapezoid assembly with the gearbox.

The windshield wiper linkage is of a non-separable design. If there is increased play in its hinges or if the levers are damaged, replace the linkage as an assembly. The gear motor can be disconnected from the linkage (see "Windscreen wiper motor gearbox replacement").

7. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
