Removal and installation the exhaust gas recirculation valve (Chevrolet Cruze J300)

You will need the key "on 12" (better end).

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Press the latch.



4. ...and disconnect the engine wiring harness connector from the recirculation valve connector.



4. Remove the two bolts securing the valve to the cylinder head outlet pipe...





5. ...and remove the valve.

The connection between the valve and the branch pipe is sealed with a gasket. Replace the sealing gasket with a new one each time the connection is disassembled.

6. Install the EGR valve in the reverse order of removal.
