6. Unscrew the two nuts securing the flange of the inlet pipe to the additional muffler.
7. Disconnect the flanges of the inlet pipe and the additional muffler and remove the sealing gasket from the studs of the additional muffler flange.
Helpful Hint: Replace the sealing gasket between the flanges of the inlet pipe and the additional muffler with a new one each time the connection is disassembled, as a heavily compressed gasket will not provide a reliable seal.

8. Remove the exhaust pipe.

9. Remove the sealing gasket from the neutralizer. Replace the sealing gasket with a new one, as a heavily compressed gasket will not provide a reliable seal.
10. Install the exhaust pipe in the reverse order of removal.
