We show the replacement of pads on the left rear wheel. We replace the pads on the right rear wheel in the same way.
Move the parking brake lever to its lowest position.
Remove the rear wheel brake disc (see Removal the rear wheel brake disc).

Using a screwdriver, we remove the tension springs of the front and rear pads.

We remove the fixing plate.

Using a screwdriver, we remove the lower tension spring.

We remove the gap adjuster.

Pressing a tube of a suitable diameter on the cup of the support strut spring, we turn it 90° and remove the cup and spring.

We remove the support post from the hole in the brake mechanism shield.

We move the rear shoe away from the brake mechanism shield and remove the spacer bar.

We disconnect the end of the parking brake cable from the drive lever…

…and remove the rear pad.
Having removed the support stand, we remove the front shoe.
Before installing new pads, clean the threads of the tip and nut of the regulator and apply a thin layer of plastic grease to the threads.
We install new pads in the reverse order.
We adjust the gap between the pads and the cylindrical surface of the brake disc.
For this…

…turning the regulator nut with a screwdriver…

…we set the distance between the outer surfaces of the pads to 167.6–167.8 mm. We install the disc and the pad guide with the caliper.
Adjust the parking brake (see Adjusting the parking brake).
