Disconnect the wiring harness from the working fluid level sensor (see Removal the master brake cylinder).

Using pliers, squeeze the ends of the clamp securing the vacuum supply hose to the booster fitting and slide the clamp along the hose.

We remove the hose from the amplifier fitting.
Disconnect the hose supplying fluid to the clutch master cylinder from the nipple of the master brake cylinder and unscrew the nipples of the two brake pipes (see Removal the master brake cylinder).
Having loosened the tightening of the fittings of these tubes to the ABS hydraulic unit (see Removal the ABS unit)…

…we move the tubes away from the master cylinder.
In the car interior, remove the protective cover (see Removal the instrument panel).
Under the dashboard…

...using pliers, we remove the spring retainer of the finger that attaches the vacuum booster pusher fork to the brake pedal.

We remove the finger from the holes in the pedal and the pusher fork.

Using a 12 mm socket, unscrew the four nuts securing the vacuum booster.

We remove the booster pusher from the hole in the front shield... ...and remove the vacuum booster from the engine compartment.

We check the size between the axis of the pusher fork holes and the mating surface of the vacuum booster, which should be 120 mm.
To get the right size…

…with a 14 mm wrench we unscrew the lock nut, holding the pusher fork with a punch.
By rotating the fork we achieve the required size, after which we tighten the lock nut. We install the vacuum brake booster in the reverse order. We bleed the hydraulic drive of the brake system (see Bleeding the hydraulic brake system).
