We remove the expansion tank without disconnecting the hoses from it (see Removal the expansion tank), and move the tank to the side.
Before removing the block, mark the location of the brake pipes on it.
In the engine compartment on the left side..

...with a special 12 mm wrench for brake pipe fittings, we unscrew the fittings of two brake pipes 1, and with a 10 mm wrench, the fittings of four pipes 2..

…and we move the tubes away from the hydraulic block.

Using a 12 mm socket head, unscrew the bolt…

…and the nut that secures the ABS unit bracket to the body.
We remove the ABS unit from the stud.

Using a screwdriver, we turn the locking device of the wiring harness block..

…and disconnect the connector from the control unit.

We remove the wheel speed sensor wiring harness block from the holder on the ABS unit bracket…

…and remove the ABS unit with the bracket from the engine compartment.
The ABS unit is attached to the bracket via two rubber bushings. If the bushings are cracked or the rubber has lost its elasticity, the bushings must be replaced.

Using a 12 mm spanner, unscrew the bolt securing the ABS unit to the bracket…

…and we separate the block and the bracket.
We install the ABS unit in the reverse order.
After installation, bleed the hydraulic drive of the brake system (see Bleeding the hydraulic brake system).
