We show the replacement of the brake hose of the left rear wheel.
Similarly, we change the brake hose of the right rear wheel, having first removed the casing of the fuel tank filler pipe (see Removal the filler pipe).
Before unscrewing the brake pipe nipple from the upper end of the hose, use a metal brush to clean the place where they are connected from dirt and corrosion and apply a penetrating liquid to them.

Using a special 10 mm wrench for brake pipe fittings, loosen the fitting securing the brake pipe to the upper end of the hose, holding the end with a 19 mm wrench.

Using pliers, remove the locking bracket securing the upper end of the hose to the body bracket.
Having unscrewed the brake pipe nipple..

…we remove the hose tip from the bracket hole.
In this case, the chamfer made on the tip must coincide with the chamfer of the hole in the bracket.

To prevent brake fluid leakage, place the brake bleeder cap on the end of the brake pipe.

Using pliers, remove the locking bracket securing the brake hose coupling to the shock absorber strut bracket.
Having aligned the chamfer of the hose coupling with the chamfer of the hole in the bracket, we move the coupling up out of the hole…

…and we take out the hose through the slot in the bracket.

Using a 12 mm open-end wrench, unscrew the bolt securing the lower end of the hose to the caliper.

We remove the copper washer from the bolt-fitting and take out the bolt-fitting with another copper washer from the hole in the hose tip.
Install the rear wheel brake hose in the reverse order. After installation, bleed the brake system hydraulic drive (see Bleeding the hydraulic brake system).
