To avoid burns, it is recommended to start work after the exhaust system has cooled down.
Disconnect the diagnostic oxygen concentration sensor wiring harness from the engine management system wiring harness (see Removal oxygen concentration sensors).
We disconnect the flanges of the additional muffler and intermediate pipes and remove the sealing gasket (see Replacing the additional muffler).
Using a penetrating liquid, such as GANK, we wet the nuts that secure the intermediate pipe flange to the catalytic converter flange.

Using a 14 mm head, unscrew the nut of the bolt securing the flanges of the intermediate pipe and the catalytic converter, holding the bolt from turning with a wrench of the same size and the nuts of the two studs.

We move the pipe flange off the studs and remove the sealing gasket.

We insert a screwdriver into the hole of the exhaust system suspension cushion…

…and remove the cushion from the intermediate pipe bracket.

We remove the intermediate pipe.
If the rubber cushion of the intermediate pipe suspension has lost its elasticity or is torn, replace it with a new one.
We install new gaskets in the joints of the flanges of the additional muffler pipe with the intermediate pipe and the intermediate pipe with the catalytic converter.
We carry out further installation of the intermediate pipe in the reverse order.
