Unscrew the front hub bearing nut and remove the washer (see Replacing the front wheel hub bearing).
We loosen the wheel mounting bolts, lift the front of the car and remove the wheel.
Disconnect the ball joint of the front suspension arm from the steering knuckle (see Removal the lever).
When removing the left wheel drive, turn the steering wheel to the extreme right position (when removing the right wheel drive, to the extreme left), so that the steering rod output has the maximum value.
This will allow the outer joint housing tail to be removed from the hub without disconnecting the tie rod end from the steering arm.

We move the steering knuckle with the shock absorber strut to the side and remove the splined tailpiece of the outer joint housing of the left wheel drive from the hub.
Typically the shank is removed from the hub by hand, but if necessary, you can lightly tap the end of the shank with a hammer through a wooden spacer.
Place a container under the hole in the gearbox housing where the inner joint tailpiece fits.

Using a mounting blade, through a metal spacer or a wooden block of a suitable size, on the gearbox housing, we push the tail of the inner drive joint out of the splined hole of the axle gear.
At the same time, some of the transmission oil will leak out of the hole in the gearbox housing.

We remove the left wheel drive, trying not to damage the drive seal.
We remove the tailpiece of the outer joint housing of the right wheel drive from the wheel hub.

Using a mounting blade, rest it on the head of the bolt securing the right differential bearing cover…

…we push the tail of the inner joint housing of the right drive out of the splined hole of the axle gear.

We remove the right wheel drive.
Before installing the drive, replace the retaining ring of the inner joint housing tail with a new one.
Reuse of retaining rings is not permitted.
Before installing the drive, center the retaining ring in the groove of the tailpiece using consistent grease.
We insert the splined tail of the outer joint housing into the hole in the wheel hub, install the washer and tighten it (without delay) hub bearing nut.
Then we insert the shank of the inner joint housing through the hole in the drive seal and, turning the shaft, align the splines of the shank with the splines of the axle gear.
By moving the suspension arm down, with a sharp movement of the strut with the steering knuckle towards the gearbox, we send the drive to a fixed position.
By pulling the inner hinge housing or prying it with a mounting blade, we make sure that the housing tail is fixed in the axle gear.
Further assembly is carried out in reverse order.
We check the oil level in the gearbox and bring it up to normal.
If there is no transmission oil of the same type as that which was poured into the gearbox, we completely replace the oil.
