Figure 7-39. Windshield wiper and washer circuit diagram:
1 - windshield washer motor;
2 - Windshield wiper motor;
3 - Windshield wiper and washer switch;
4 - mounting block;
5 - ignition switch;
A - to power sources;
K2 - windshield wiper relay;
K6 - additional relay.
The relay must ensure that the wiper motor is switched on at a frequency of 14±4 cycles per minute in the operating range from idle (load only by rods) up to a load with a maximum effective torque of 3.92 Nm (0.4 kgf·m), at a gearmotor shaft rotation speed of at least 20 min⁻¹, at an ambient temperature of (20±5)°C and a supply voltage of (14±0.2) V.
The relay must ensure that the wiper mode is switched to low speed when the windshield washer is turned on (if the purifier was running in intermittent mode or was turned off). After turning off the windshield washer, the wiper should perform 2-4 complete cleaning cycles at low speed at an ambient temperature of (20±5)°C and a supply voltage of (14±0.2) V.
