Checking the coolant level (Chevrolet Orlando 1)

            0

It is necessary to check the coolant level as often as possible, for example, every time before driving the car. To check the level, there are marks in the form of horizontal lines (ribs) on the front wall of the expansion tank. Only the coolant recommended by the manufacturer should be added.

Recommendation. The coolant level rises as the engine temperature increases and falls as it decreases. Therefore, the coolant level should only be checked when the engine has cooled down (after parking for at least 2-3 hours).

The coolant level in the expansion tank when the engine is not warmed up should be slightly above the mark indicated by the arrow.

Warning! Be careful not to unscrew the expansion tank cap on a hot engine - you can get burned by boiling liquid or steam!

If necessary, add coolant:

1. Unscrew the cap from the expansion tank of the cooling system.
