Processing of door seals (Chevrolet Orlando 1)

            0

To prevent dust and moisture from getting in, and to improve acoustic comfort, rubber seals are installed in all openings of the body. In the cold season, after washing the car, as well as during severe frosts after thaws, these seals freeze to the opening parts of the body. This usually makes it very difficult to access the car, and when trying to suddenly open a frozen door, there is a high probability that the seal will break. The cost of a door seal and the work involved in replacing it is many times higher than the cost of a can of silicone grease, and even more so the work involved in applying it. Therefore, to prevent doors from freezing in winter and to extend the service life of seals, we do the following.

1. Open the driver's door and apply silicone grease to the rubber seals of the door opening along the entire perimeter.
