Radio FM/AM and DAB (only for type 2)
Selecting the radio operating mode
Press the BAND button to switch to FM/AM and DAB radio listening (only for type 2) from another mode.
Change range
The range switches from AM to FM, from FM to AM or from FM to DAB, from DAB to AM (only for type 2) each time you press the RANGE button.
Manual tuning up/down the range
Press the buttons
, to increase/decrease the frequency.
The frequency increases or decreases by one step each time the button is pressed
.
Search up/down range
Press the buttons
, to automatically find the next/previous station.
Memory for storing favorites
It has 6 favourites pages to store up to 48 stations of any AM/FM or DAB band (only for type 2).
To save a radio station, you need to do the following:
- 1. Find the desired radio station or tune to its frequency manually.
- 2. Select the favorites page by pressing the FAVORITES [FAV] button.
- 3. Hold down the function button under the number under which you want to remember this radio station for more than 1 second.
By following the described procedure, you can store up to 48 favorite radio stations in memory.
Recalling a favorite radio station from memory
To listen to a stored favorite radio station, follow these steps:.
- 1. Select the favorites page by pressing the FAVORITES [FAV] button.
- 2. Press the function button under the number of the favorites cell in which the radio station you need is saved.
Automatic saving
Hold down the button
, the radio will start the auto store operation and store 12 stations automatically.
RDS System Management
AF (auto-tuning) on/off
The AF function continuously tunes the receiver to the station with the clearest signal.
Press the MENU button in radio mode, and the radio will display the radio menu.
Press the function button below RDS and the infotainment system will display the RDS menu.
Press the function button below the AF label.
The AF function turns on and off each time you press this function button.
Regional station on/off
The regional station function switches the infotainment system to the local station ("Regional station off").
Press the MENU button in radio mode and the infotainment system will display the radio menu.
Press the function button below RDS and the infotainment system will display the RDS menu.
Press the function button under REG.
The regional station function is turned on or off each time this function button is pressed.
Receiving traffic reports
Press the TP button to listen to the traffic channel announcements and the infotainment system will switch on the traffic announcements.
Press the TP key to turn off the traffic channel if
the infotainment system is in traffic message mode.
Search for a station reporting traffic conditions.
Press the TP button while listening to a radio station that does not have a traffic channel, and the infotainment system will search for the next station that broadcasts traffic information.
DAB Control (only for type 2)
Search for DAB service components
Press the buttons
, to search for available DAB service components in the current ensemble.
To go to the previous/next ensemble use the buttons
.
Search for DAB ensembles
Hold the buttons
pressed to automatically search for available DAB service components with good reception.
DAB Service Binding
If automatic linking is set, the DAB-FM mode is activated and if the DAB service signal is weak, the infotainment system receives the linked service component automatically (see DAB menu → LINKING →, select the desired linking mode).
Tuning to a DAB station manually:
In DAB mode, press the MENU button.
When the DAB menu is displayed, press the function button below SETUP.
By pressing buttons
, manually find the desired radio broadcast frequency.
Using the DAB Station List
- 1. In DAB mode, press the MENU button.
- 2. When the DAB menu is displayed, press the LIST button
- 3. When the Station menu is displayed, press the LIST button.
- 4. Information about the station will be displayed.
- 5. You can search the station lists using the function button under the SETUP label.
- 6. Press the function button below the ENT buttons to select the desired list.
Displaying DAB information
Press and hold the INFO button to select the desired DAB station information display mode.
List of DAB categories
1. In DAB mode, press the MENU button.
2. When the DAB menu is displayed, press the LIST button
3. When the Station menu is displayed, press the CAT button.
4. A list of DAB categories will be shown.
5. Press the ←/→ buttons to select the desired list and press the "Category" button to receive the corresponding radio frequency.
6. You can search the station lists using the buttons
.
7. Use the ENT buttons to select the desired list.
DAB Station Update List
1. In DAB mode, press the MENU button.
2. When the DAB menu is displayed, press the LIST button.
3. When the Station menu is displayed, press the UPDATE button.
4. The DAB radio station list will be updated.
5. Press the ←/→ buttons to select the desired list and press the "Announcement" button to receive the corresponding radio broadcast frequency.
6. The "Announcement" button will be activated.
