Relieving pressure in the fuel supply system (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Procedure



Caution! The fuel system is under pressure. Before disconnecting the fuel lines, relieve the pressure in the fuel supply system to avoid fuel spillage and burns.


1. Remove the fuel cap.

2. Remove the fuel pump fuse from the engine fuse block.

3. Start the engine and turn it off.

4. Crank the engine for another 10 seconds.
