Relieving pressure in the fuel system (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

            0

Caution: Before servicing the fuel system, remove the fuel filler cap and relieve pressure to reduce the risk of injury.

Note: When disconnecting the fuel line connectors, take measures to catch any residual fuel.

1. Remove the fuel tank filler cap.

2. If necessary, remove the engine cover.

3. Remove the fuel manifold service nipple cover.

4. Place a rag under the nipple to collect the fuel. Press the service nipple valve with a small flat-head screwdriver to release the pressure in the fuel system.

5. Remove the rag.

6. Install the fuel rail service nipple cover.

7. Install the engine cover.

8. Install the fuel tank filler cap.
