Removal
Caution: Handle the electronic components of the throttle control system with care. Do not drop the throttle body. Do not immerse the throttle control components in any type of solvent.
Note: Never insert a screwdriver or other similar tools into the throttle body to hold the throttle valve open, this may damage the valve and/or throttle body.
1. On early models, partially drain the cooling system (below the throttle body hose level).
2. Remove the air filter housing outlet duct.
3. Disconnect the throttle control actuator connector.

4. Disconnect the air bleed tube hose from the cooling system from the throttle body.

5. Loosen the nuts and bolts securing the throttle body.

Tightening torque 10 Nm.
6. Remove the throttle body.
7. Remove and discard the throttle body gasket.
Installation
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Always install a new throttle body gasket. When installing the gasket, align the protrusion of the gasket with the cutout in the intake manifold. "Train" the throttle actuator.
Cleaning
Note: The throttle body can be cleaned without removing the body from the engine. In this case, be sure to turn off the ignition.
1. Inspect the inside of the throttle body and the throttle body itself. Look for any signs of deposits. Open the throttle fully for a complete inspection.
Note: Do not use methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) based solvents for cleaning. Such solvents may damage fuel system components.
2. Clean the inside of the throttle body and the throttle body itself with carburetor cleaner.
