The filter cover is located at the bottom of the instrument panel on the passenger side.
You will need a flat-blade screwdriver.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the glove box (see "Removal and installation the instrument panel").
3. Press the filter compartment cover lock...
4. ...and open the lid.
5. Pry up the edge of the filter element...
6. ...and remove the filter element by pulling it into the passenger compartment.
7. Install the new filter element and the removed instrument panel parts in reverse order.
