To clean the air supplied to the passenger compartment from dust contained in the outside air, a filter with a replaceable paper filter element is installed in the heating, air conditioning and ventilation system.
The manufacturer prescribes replacing the cabin filter after 15 thousand km of mileage or after 1 year (whichever comes first). Under severe operating conditions, the filter must be checked every 3 months or 5 thousand km and replaced every 6 months or 8 thousand km.

1. Open the lower storage compartment.

2. Remove the damper rod eye from the pin on the wall of the glove compartment.

3. Squeeze the side walls of the glove compartment until the stops on the side walls disengage from the edges of the niche...

4. ...and fold the drawer down.

5. Press the latches on the right and left of the filter element compartment cover...

6. ...and flip the lid up.

7. Remove the filter element from the compartment.

8. Install the new filter element in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: There is an arrow on the side surface of the filter element. When installing, its direction must match the direction of air movement.
