Checking the runout of the front brake disc (Chevrolet Niva 1)

Check the axial runout of the brake disc without removing it from the vehicle (figure 6-15). The maximum permissible runout on the indicator is 0.15 mm; if the runout is greater, the disc must be ground, but the final thickness of the disc after grinding must be more than 9.5 mm. If there is damage or very deep scratches, as well as if the wear exceeds 1 mm on each side, replace the disc with a new one.
