Third row rear seat belt with pretensioner (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

Seat with cushions 60/40

1. Remove the second row rear seat.

2. Turn the central lock until the seat back is fully reclined.

3. Remove the cover (1). The tightening torque of the screw is 2 Nm.



4. Loosen the bolt (1) securing the seat belt to the seat cushion base. Tightening torque 53 N·m.



5. Remove the headrest.

6. Remove the seat back upholstery and padding.

7. Remove the seat back base.

8. Remove the seat belt pretensioner cover (1).

9. Loosen the seat belt pretensioner mounting bolts (2). Tightening torque 55 Nm.





10. Loosen the screws (1) securing the handle. Tightening torque 7 Nm.



11. Disconnect the retaining straps and fold back the edge of the seat cushion upholstery.

12. Loosen the seat belt mounting bolt. Tightening torque 53 Nm.



13. Remove the seat belt assembly with the pretensioner and the seat belt buckle.

14. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Seats with a whole cushion

1. Remove the seat back upholstery and padding.

2. Loosen the bolt (1) and remove the belt pretensioner. Tightening torque 53 Nm.



3. Remove the seat cushion upholstery.



4. Loosen the bolts (1) and remove the seat belt buckles. Tightening torque 53 Nm.

Installation

3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
