Engine crankcase protection (Chevrolet Orlando 1)

In some cases, in order to gain access to the lower part of the engine compartment during vehicle repair or maintenance, the protection must be removed.

Removal the engine crankcase protection

To carry out the work, you will need an overpass or inspection pit.

1. Preparing the car for maintenance and repair

2. Using a 15 mm socket wrench, unscrew the four bolts.

Note: When unscrewing the last two bolts, hold the side of the guard where the bolts have already been unscrewed.

3. Remove the protection from the car.



4. Install the engine crankcase protection in reverse order.
