Removal procedure
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the headliner. See Section 9Q, Roof.
3. Remove the front and rear door bolts near the side of the roof.
4. Disconnect the roof rail airbag module connector.
5. Unscrew the bolts next to the window.
6. Remove the roof rail airbag module.
Installation procedure
1. Install the roof rail airbag module.
2. Install the roof rail airbag module using bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the roof rail airbag mounting bolts to 10 Nm (7 ft·lbs).
3. Connect the roof rail airbag module connector.
4. Install the headliner into place. See Section 9Q, Roof.
5. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
