Rear window holder (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove rear door glass. Go to section 9L, Glass and mirrors.

3. Remove the electric window. See "Power window" in this section.

4. Remove the upper trim of the rear door.

5. Unscrew the bolt and nut and remove the rear window holder.

Installation procedure

1. Install the rear window holder and tighten the bolt and nut.

Tighten

Tighten the rear window holder bolt and nut to 10 Nm (89 lb-ft).

2. Install the rear door upper trim.

3. Install the power window. See "Power window" in this section.

4. Install rear door glass. Go to section 9L, Glass and mirrors.

5. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
