The front door is shown, the back door is similar.
Removal procedure
1. Remove the door splash shield. See "Door splash guard" in this section.
2. Remove the bolts on the door and body.
3. Remove the door open position retainer.
Installation procedure
Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals may result in rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to avoid premature corrosion.
1. Install the door open position retainer on the door and body using bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the bolt securing the door open position retainer to the body with a torque of 20 N·m (15 lb-ft).
Tighten the bolts securing the door open position retainer to the body with a force of 9 N·m (80 lbs.in).
2. Install the door splash shield. See "Door splash guard" in this section.
