Removal procedure



1. Partially drain the cooling system.

2. Raise and secure the vehicle.

2. Raise and secure the vehicle.


3. Compress and push back the two spring clamps on the heater hoses on the firewall.

4. Carefully rotate the hose from left to right and back again to release the connection between the hose and the tube.

5. Remove the end of the hose from the tube.

6. Repeat steps 3 and 4 with the other hose.

7. Compress the spring clamp on the heater coolant inlet hose and slide the clamp rearward.

8. Remove the heater hose from the vehicle.

9. Compress the heater hose spring clamp at the connection under the intake manifold and slide the clamp back.

Installation procedure



1. Install the left heater hose onto the coolant inlet fitting. Pull the end of the heater hose onto the coolant fitting to ensure a tight fit.



2. Install the right heater hose onto the fitting under the intake manifold. Pull the end of the heater hose onto the fitting to ensure a tight fit.

3. Install and tighten the opposite ends of the heater hoses tightly.

4. Squeeze and slide the heater hose spring clamps into place, then release them.

5. Fill the cooling system.

6. Make sure there are no leaks in the hoses.

7. Lower the car.
