Removal procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the audio system trim panel. See section 9F, "Audio Systems".
3. Remove the four control panel mounting screws.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
5. Remove the control panel.
Installation procedure
1. Connect the electrical connectors to the sockets on the back of the control panel.
2. Install the control panel by carefully pressing it into place on the center console.
3. Tighten the mounting screws.
Tighten
Tighten the control panel mounting screws to 2.5 Nm (22 lbs.in).
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
5. Ensure that the control unit is functioning correctly by successively setting all possible operating positions.
6. Install the audio system trim panel. See section 9F, "Audio Systems".
