Rear rotor, brake disc (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Remove the caliper bracket. See "Caliper Bracket" in this section.



2. Remove the disc lock screw.

3. Remove the brake disc.

Installation procedure

Important: To ensure equal braking force, always grind both discs, even if only one is defective.

1. Install the brake disc and stop screw.

Tighten

Tighten the brake disc stop screw to 8 N·m (71 lb-in).



2. Add a few drops of threadlocker to the bracket bolts and install the caliper bracket.



Tighten

Tighten the caliper bracket bolts to 100 N·m (74 lb-ft).
