Removal procedure
1. Raise the vehicle and place it on the supports provided for this purpose.
2. Remove the cover and nuts from the top of the strut.

3. Remove the wheels. See Part 2E. Tires and wheels.
4. Remove the brake hose bracket bolt.
5. Remove the nuts and bolts securing the strut bracket to the steering knuckle.
6. Remove the upper nut securing the stabilizer bar to the telescopic strut.
7. Remove the telescopic strut assembly.

Installation procedure
1. Install the bolts and nuts securing the strut assembly to the steering knuckle.
Tighten
Tighten the nuts and bolts of the strut assembly to a torque of 180 N·m (133 ft·lbs).
2. Install the brake hose bracket bolt to the strut.
Tighten
Tighten the brake hose bracket bolt to 15 N·m(11 ft·lbs).

3. Install the top strut cover and nuts.
Tighten
Tighten the upper nuts securing the front suspension strut to the body until a torque of 30 N·m is reached (22 ft·lbs).
4. Install the upper nut securing the stabilizer bar to the telescopic strut. See the section in this section "Stabilizer link"
5. Install the wheels.
