Front suspension strut (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

1. Raise the vehicle and place safety stands under the frame.

2. Remove the front wheels.

3. Disconnect the steering from the steering knuckle.

4. To make it easier to remove the suspension bracket, slightly jack up the lower arm.

5. Disconnect the rod from the body height sensor and disconnect the connector from the shock absorber solenoid valve.

6. Unscrew the upper nuts (2) securing the shock absorber.

7. Unscrew the bolts (1) of the lower shock absorber mount and remove the strut.

Installation

8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
