Upper trailing arm rear suspension (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

1. Raise the vehicle and place safety stands under the frame.

2. Place a temporary support under the bridge beam.

3. If the suspension is electronically controlled, disconnect the height sensor connector.

4. Unscrew the nut and bolt securing the lever to the frame (A).

5. Loosen the nut and bolt securing the lever to the axle beam (B). Tightening torque 105 Nm.

Note: The final tightening of the lever mounting bolts is carried out with the vehicle standing on its wheels.

6. Remove the upper trailing arm.

Installation

7. Installation in reverse order.
