Note: Front suspension shock absorbers are multifunctional. In addition to damping suspension vibrations, they also provide a limitation of the full suspension travel. Therefore, when replacing a shock absorber, install a shock absorber of similar rigidity and travel, otherwise you may get the prerequisites for breakage of suspension parts.
1. Raise the vehicle and place safety stands under the frame.
2. Place a safety stand under the lower suspension arm.
3. If the electronically controlled suspension is installed, disconnect the suspension height sensor link from the sensor.
4. Grasp the connector locks (1) and (2). Rotate the locks counterclockwise until the connector is disconnected.

5. Pull the connector up until it comes off the pin.
6. Holding the rod pin with a wrench, unscrew the upper support nut. Tightening torque 20 Nm.

Note: The upper insulator (1) is significantly larger than the lower insulator (3) and is installed on top of the frame bracket. The guide ring (2) helps to correctly align the insulators during installation.
7. Remove the nut.
8. Remove the upper insulator (1). Do not discard the plastic guide ring (2).
9. Loosen the bolt securing the lower shock absorber support to the lower suspension arm.

Installation
11. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Tighten the nut of the upper shock absorber support with the vehicle standing on its wheels.
