Removal and installation the accelerator pedal (Chevrolet Cruze J300)

The pedal is removed for replacement if it breaks, and also for replacing the return spring if it is damaged.

You will need: a flat-blade screwdriver, pliers.



1. Remove the lower instrument panel trim



2. Remove the bolt securing the accelerator pedal to the body...



3. ...and move the pedal away from the dashboard.





4. Remove the retainer...



5. ...and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the accelerator pedal.



6. Remove the pedal.

7. Install the throttle pedal onto the vehicle in the reverse order of removal.
