
1. Remove the vacuum supply hose from the solenoid valve fitting.

2. Put the hose on the syringe and create a vacuum in the cavity of the pneumatic chamber of the intake manifold flap drive. If the pneumatic chamber rod remains motionless, replace it.

3. Remove the vacuum hose from the pneumatic chamber fitting.

4. Pry it up with a screwdriver.

5. ...and remove the ball end from the damper drive rod.

6. Unscrew the two bolts securing the air chamber to the intake pipe...

7. ...and remove the air chamber.

8. Install the air chamber in the reverse order of removal.
