The procedure for replacing the inner CV joint seals of manual and automatic transmissions is the same and is shown using the example of a manual transmission.
You will need: a mounting blade, a large screwdriver, a hammer, and a mandrel.
1. Place the vehicle on an inspection pit or lift.
2. To replace the inner constant velocity joint seal, remove the wheel drive from the side of the seal being replaced

3. Remove the seal with a screwdriver.

4. Lubricate the working edge of the oil seal with transmission grease and press it in using a mandrel of a suitable diameter with the working edge inside the gearbox.
5. Install the removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
6. Check the level and top up the oil in the manual transmission if necessary (or working fluid in an automatic transmission).
