Holding the rail from turning with the "22" key by the flat located on the very edge of the toothed part of the rack, with the "32" key we rotate the body of the ball joint of the left tie rod counterclockwise by the flats..
... and unscrew the threaded tip of the thrust ball joint housing from the hole in the rail.
To replace the right tie rod, both steering gear covers must be removed.
Holding the rail from turning with the "22" key by the flat on the toothed part of the rail (see above), with the "32" key, we unscrew the body of the ball joint of the right tie rod from the rack hole.
We assemble and install the steering mechanism with rods in the reverse order.
Before screwing in the body of the thrust joint, apply a fixing sealant to its threaded tip.
Tighten the ball joint housings of the rods to the prescribed torque (see Applications).
Before mounting the steering gear, set the middle position of the rack (rectilinear movement of the car).
After installing the steering gear on the car, we check and, if necessary, adjust the toe angle at the service station.
