2. The steering pump reservoir is located behind the radiator near the front edge (near end with drive belt) engine (see illustration).
7.2. The power steering pump reservoir is located near the front of the engine. To remove the cover, turn it clockwise
3. To check, the front wheels must be mounted straight and the engine must be turned off.
4. Wipe off the reservoir cap with a clean cloth. This will help prevent foreign material from entering the reservoir during inspection.
5. Remove the plug and check the fluid temperature at the end of the dipstick with your finger.
6. Wipe off the hydraulic fluid with a clean cloth, insert the plug and remove it again and check the fluid level. If the hydraulic fluid feels hot to the touch, the level should be at "NOT" ("hot") (see illustration). If the liquid was cold to the touch, its level should be at the level "COLD" ("Cold"). Please note that on cars of some models, the marks "FULL NOTE" And "COLD" are at opposite ends of the probe. Do not allow the hydraulic fluid level to drop below the mark "ADD".
7.6. The marks on the dipstick indicate the required hydraulic fluid level
7. If it is necessary to replenish the level, pour the liquid recommended by the specifications directly into the tank; use a funnel to prevent leaks.
8. If frequent topping up is required, carefully check all power steering hoses, all hose clamps, power steering pump and steering gear for leaks.
