Rear Seat Access (Suburban Second Seat) (Chevrolet Tahoe 1)

The right side of the rear 60/40 split folding bench seat has a clear seat access feature. This allows easy entry and exit of the third rear seat, if equipped.

To operate the seat, move the lever on the side of the seat downwards.

Tilt the seat by pulling the top of the seat forward. When you do this, the bottom of the seat will come free. Simply push the chair forward until it stops.



There is a foot operated release lever for the rear seat passenger, used to exit the vehicle from the third seat.

To enable free access of the second seat, pull up the release lever with your foot. Push the seat back forward and tilt it.

To return the chair to its normal position, return the backrest to the upright position and push the chair back until it latches into place.
