Upper instrument panel trim (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

1. If an air conditioner is installed, set the air distribution flap to the ventilation position.

2. Apply the parking brake.

3. Move the automatic transmission selector to the lower position.

4. Tilt the steering wheel to the down position.

5. Remove the instrument cluster trim bezel.

6. Remove the end panels. The left side panel is shown, the right side is similar.



7. Remove the air outlet grilles on the right side.

8. Press the auxiliary handle latches located under the air outlet grilles and remove the handle.



9. Remove the windshield pillar trim molding.

10. Remove the screws securing the trim to the instrument panel frame.

11. Lift the trim panel and disconnect the light sensor connector (1) on the back of the panel.





12. Remove the instrument panel trim.

Installation

13. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
