Removal and installation the mounting block in the engine compartment (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the mounting block cover retainer.



3. Remove the housing (1) and the mounting block cover (2) as an assembly by disconnecting the fasteners (3).



4. Remove all fuses and relays.

5. Press the latch (3), turn the mounting block and release the clamps (2).



6. Unscrew the bolts (1).



7. Disconnect all connectors from the mounting block.

8. Press the latches (2) and remove the mounting block (1) from the bracket (3).



9. Unscrew the four bolts (1).



10. Remove the mounting block bracket. Tightening torque of the bolts is 9 N·m.

11. Install in the reverse order of removal.

12. Start the engine and make sure that all systems are working properly.
