1. Loosen the wheel nuts, raise the front of the vehicle and install vertical supports. Remove the wheels. Support both lower control arms with floor jacks.
2. Remove the protective panel located on the underside of the vehicle.
3. Unscrew the bolts securing the lower suspension arm bracket to the frame (see chapter 10).
4. Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the front steering gear cross member.
5. Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the rear cross member of the steering gear.
6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the lower control arm bracket mounting bolts to the torque value given in chapter 10 specifications. Tighten the steering gear bridge bolts to the specified torque.
