1. Inspect the seat belts, their buckles and holders for damage.
2. If the belts are bolted to the floor of the vehicle, make sure the bolts are securely tightened.
3. Make sure that the system warning light comes on when the ignition key is turned to the RUN or START position. A buzzer should also sound.
