1. The fuel tank on the described vehicles cannot be restored. If damage to the tank is detected, it must be replaced.
2. All work on cleaning a tank containing contaminated fuel should be entrusted to professionals, since repairing a gas tank on your own is extremely dangerous. Even after cleaning and drying, fuel vapors remain in the tank, which are extremely explosive.
3. If the fuel tank is removed from the vehicle, store it away from open flames or sparks to prevent fuel vapors from igniting. Particular caution should be exercised in a garage equipped with gas appliances, as being near them could cause the gas tank to explode.
