2. Disconnect the battery from ground.
3. Drain the gas tank or use up the fuel by driving.
4. Raise the vehicle and place it on stands.
5. Disconnect the fuel tank filler neck and vent tube.
6. Place a jack under the tank.
7. Disconnect both tank mounting straps (see photo).
9. Lower the tank, disconnect the wires and ground strap from the fuel pump/fuel level sensor. Mark and disconnect all hoses from the tank.
10. Remove the tank.
11. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
