Central SFI System
1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Decompress the fuel system.
3. Remove the upper intake manifold.
4. Remove the holder and take the regulator out of the fuel injection module.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Check the cleanliness of the small filter, replace a heavily contaminated filter. Replace the sealing rings, lightly lubricating them with clean engine oil.
SFI System
6. Disconnect the battery from ground.
7. Decompress the fuel system.
8. Remove the intake manifold equalization chamber.
9. Disconnect the vacuum line from the pressure regulator.
10. Remove the snap ring securing the pressure regulator to the fuel distributor.
11. Remove the pressure regulator from the fuel distributor by turning and pulling outward.
12. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Replace the sealing rings.
