2. Disconnect the battery from ground.
3. Remove the air filter.
4. Disconnect the wire connectors from the idle air control valve, throttle angle sensor and injectors.
5. Disconnect the wiring harness from the throttle body and remove the protective cover.
6. Disconnect the throttle linkage, return spring, cruise control cables and throttle cables at the throttle body.
7. Mark and disconnect all vacuum hoses at the throttle body.
8. Disconnect the fuel pipes from the branch pipe (see photo).
9. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the throttle body from the intake manifold (see photo). Plug the hole in the manifold with a rag. Remove traces of gasket material from the split surfaces of the throttle body and intake manifold.
10. Installation is performed in the reverse order. Replace all gaskets and seals of the disassembled connections. Upon completion, check the freedom of movement of the accelerator pedal.
